I think they are missing games the children could access themselves that are matched to the activity

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

It has good coverage but doesn’t always allow for range of abilities in a class

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?

Well: The content is inclusive and sensitively presented

The materials show a wide range of ethnicities and includes a good range of diverse names

How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?

Reasonably: It’s lacking in support work

I don’t believe the range is more than reasonable - I have to use other resources alongside White Rose to cover abilities in my class

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

The children like the activities and the way the information in presented in the teaching slides

How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

I don’t use the formative assessment on white rose.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

The resources cover mostly everything a teacher would need to pick up and teach

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources

It sometimes references using resources that are not part of the pack. Would need to provide them for pupils to successfully complete the tasks

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen.

It’s the main resources we use and compared to what else is available I believe it’s worth the money
