A very useful website all round.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources

Lots of variety within the content, easy access and the children enjoy the content presentation, which is updated regularly.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough extension or challenge

Just needs more of what there is because what there is accessible and attractive. The children respond positively to the content and look forward to using the site.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

They enjoy the variation with the content, the ease with which they can access the information and the colourful and attractive way thar the site is constructed.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

I am not aware of any assessment in any of the content I have viewed.

How well does it support planning?

Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement

Many strands available and it allows for use in a lesson’s main part, introduction or plenary, which is helpful.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

Children can access the content readily at home and enjoy being given tasks to complete as an extension of their work in the classroom.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Adding further content if possible with a little more depth would be helpful. Maybe have an opportunity for children to feedback on aspects of the site and rate their enjoyment might be beneficial.
