Average rating across all The PE Hub reviews: 4.3/5

This has worked well for us where a large gap in the curriculum existed.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

The PE Hub has given us an excellent framework to be delivered by non-subject specialists

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?

Well: The content is inclusive and sensitively presented

We are a fully inclusive school with a high level of SEN and all children can be included - with some minor resource adaptations from teachers.

How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

This still depends on the quality of delivery by staff.

How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

We haven't got an effective assessment programme for PE introduced yet.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

Saves teacher time

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources

I'm not familiar with any home learning aspects.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Provides v. good value for money
