A well thought out resource that meets most of our school needs in music
How well does it match the curriculum?
Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources
We feel the programme doesn’t match the curriculum but there are a few key elements missing
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Brilliantly: The content stands out as being particularly positive in this regard and would be welcome in any school like mine
Really good cultural representation
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils
The option to differentiate is there but some elements we don’t feel it is well differentiated
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so
All pupils enjoy the activities
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited
We haven’t fully used the assessment option
How well does it support planning?
Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes
Great planning resource
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources
We don’t use this feature
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
