How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
Has a good range of activities to support lessons, the 'big questions' are supported with information
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Well: The content is inclusive and sensitively presented
Our pupuls of other faiths have found the lessons interesting
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Reasonably: Most sessions have required teacher differentiation
Most sessions require teacher to differentiate
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
The pupils have enjoyed the debates
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited
Assessment options are in the planning
How well does it support planning?
Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement
Planning is thorough but have discovered that links to texts take you to a shop where you have to buy materials. As the scheme has been purchased, this does not seem appropriate
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Badly: It’s not really suitable for home use or independent learning
It does need adult support
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
The lessons are interesting and varied
