How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected.
Updated, as and when things change from central government
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Well: The content is inclusive and sensitively presented.
Positive images presented which is important to our varied community at this school
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but staff occasionally report that they'd like a wider choice of activities to help with differentiation, although this isn't an issue in most cases.
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so
It's very popular with the children, as well as their families. Parents really appreciate the opportunity to work with their children at home on things that they do at school i.e. the same platform
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited.
TBH it wasn't really bought for this purpose.
How well does it support planning?
Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement.
Staff generally are happy with what they get for this.
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Brilliantly: We’d have very few reservations about using this extensively to support home learning.
As noted above, it's very popular. Apart from occasional logging in issues, parents find it easy to use even with younger children.
How would you rate it for value for money, compared to similar resources?
Reasonably: We pay about what we'd expect to for something like this - as they're all different in terms of their offer and scope of resources, it's not necessarily that easy to do a like-for-like comparison.
Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours?
