A great free resource which engages children with its quiz-like questions

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

It has questions for each year group on a good range of topics

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?

Well: The content is inclusive and sensitively presented

The questions can be used for discussion and learning

How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?

Reasonably: You can choose a different year group so children can access questions

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

The children like the quiz-style questions

How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

It can give you data if you use the full version I only use the free one

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

Good for assessment to identify next steps

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

I believe children can access it from home to practice

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Brilliantly: It’s possibly the best value for money of any similar resources I’ve seen

I only use the free version
