I think it has potential but needs further development

How well does it match the curriculum?

Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources

There are some clear links to the curriculum but these could be made more explicit.

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?

Reasonably: There is some representation of minorities and no real stereotyping

It is fine for my school background but there are areas where it could show more diversity.

How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

It is good for extension and challenge, but developments needed to support children with SEN.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

We pick and choose when we use, but it supports specific curriculum areas well.

How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

I haven’t really used it effectively yet for formative assessment.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

Questions help to support development of planning

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources

I don’t think it would be effective to use for home learning but it supports more able independent learners

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

It doesn’t really standout in terms of value for money.
