Use of knowledge organisers and vocabulary.
How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
It seems to have a good balance of different areas of art
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Reasonably: There is some representation of minorities and no real stereotyping
A range of artists are looked at. Ideas for SEND children and how to adapt
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
I teach whole KS2 in one class. I couldn’t get their mixed age planning to download but I’m used to having to adapt material for such a wide ability range. I’m able to do this from their activities
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
Children have produced pleasing outcomes that they’ve been proud of.
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress
We do the pre/post unit tests.
How well does it support planning?
Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes
Everything is done for you which is great as I don’t have anyone to share the planning load with.
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen
