How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
It is easy to use, to find the resources and to adapt for a class.
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Well: The content is inclusive and sensitively presented
Easy to follow the progression from year to year to extend the higher ability and support the lower.
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so
The children enjoy the lessons and are always asking to do more of the sessions.
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited
We are currently still using our usual systems in school, not those within the system.
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
Planning is easy to access and to follow.
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources
The children are so used now to home learning, it flows well from school to home.
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
Is is mid-range priced.
