I’d give it a 4 because it fits the curriculum perfectly but cannot give it 5 stars with the price
How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
It covers all the objectives well and in a user friendly way, especially compared to other software out there
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Reasonably: There is some representation of minorities and no real stereotyping
There are some different ethnicities represented through pictures but I would like to see a wider range of minorities shown
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils
We have found it very easy to use with a wide range of needs within the class
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so
This is our first year using Just2Easy and the children have responded well to using it. They are quite enthusiastic about it
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
I haven’t made use of any assessment tools so cannot comment on the extent of how good they are
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
It is easy to pick up and go. Teachers with minimal computing experience have been able to use this software easily with minimal preparation beforehand
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources
It could be used at home but most pupils would need some guidance on what to use the software for
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Reasonably: It is a fantastic resource however it is too expensive for our school. I feel like they are able to price higher because there aren’t really many, if any competitors in this field
