How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
We use it as a multi-faith school
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Reasonably: There is some representation of minorities and no real stereotyping
We would like more ethnicity resources
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Reasonably: It's ok for TA delivery and we have small class numbers. It doesn't differentiate enough for whole class teaching
Extension activities are missing
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long
Our SEMH students have little concentration, so activities need to be short, sharp and high interest
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited
It's not a subject we need to assess so it's not a real issue for my school
How well does it support planning?
Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement
It's a 'go to' resource which we can slot into our planning
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Badly: It’s not really suitable for home use or independent learning
We wouldn't consider using it for home learning with our children
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen
It's a useful tool for the whole school to use
