How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
I have been using this for a few years. It covers a wide range of religions and has optional units
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Reasonably: There is some representation of minorities and no real stereotyping
This is an area that could be improved upon. There is a lot of stereotypes and a more diverse representation would be better
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils
It has scaffolding if needed
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
Children enjoy the links to videos and succinct lessons
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
Badly: There isn’t any / enough formative assessment or what there is, isn’t very useful
The end of unit assessments aren’t great
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
But you have to create your own PowerPoints
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Badly: It’s not really suitable for home use or independent learning
Not set up for this
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen
