How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
Most areas covered but needed to ensure that we kept the religious aspects as well as the wider curriculum context.
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Well: The content is inclusive and sensitively presented
Ensuring all children have the ability to access and learn about religions and those that follow them
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils
Good suggestions throughout the planning
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
The themes are interesting to the children and the question based approach is great
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
We use it to structure our own planning around and then adapt for the needs of our classes
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources
Don’t really use it for home learning as bought into it post Covid lock downs
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
