How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

Interesting and exciting texts that cover a whole range of subjects. Highly engaging for reluctant boy writers

How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?

Brilliantly: The content stands out as being particularly positive in this regard and would be welcome in any school like mine

How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?

Reasonably: This is more a school specific thing. The resources lend themselves to differentiation well.

Both support and challenge are easy to provide based upon each classes context. The nature of the activities and texts means this isn't a problem.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so

Kids love it. The fact that many texts used haven't been heard by the children before adds real value

How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Badly: It’s not really suitable for home use or independent learning

Quite a tricky one to use. Particularly if you want good quality independent work

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
