How well does it match the curriculum?
Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources
There are aspects that are great, some not so much. Learning how to sing MC Hammer or Fresh Prince of Bel Air doesn’t really seem too relevant but the children really enjoy it.
How well does it support your school’s inclusion/diversity/equal opportunities policy?
Well: The content is inclusive and sensitively presented
Seems suitable
How well does it support differentiation for the full range of the classes you use it with?
Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support / extension or challenge
We usually support differentiation ourselves
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
Some of the warm up games are repeated but overall children love it
How well supported is it by accompanying formative assessments?
Badly: There isn’t any / enough formative assessment or what there is, isn’t very useful
I’m not sure if this is just my lack of knowledge on it though!
How well does it support planning?
Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes
All the plans are there
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources
I think well, although we’ve never tried it
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen
