How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
Is better than alternatives in my experience and covers what we need effectively
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils
This is a real strength
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
Leads to good lessons which leads to good outcomes and responses from pupils
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited
This is clear but not a strength
How well does it support planning?
Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes
This is the main reason we use it
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources
Not something we are looking for in PE
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
Good value
Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 9/11
