Kids love the songs
How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
Some great ideas there
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Reasonably: Possibly aimed too high; if there’s a less able section or SEN then have not seen
Caters for middle/more able too much
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
V fun/lively lessons on the whole which kids love
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress
We don’t assess in music really
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
Mostly does job for us
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources
We adapt it for parents
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 9/11
