How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Of course we have some pupils who prefer not to sing

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

Most content is fun and engaging

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

We don’t tend to formally assess this lesson

How well does it support planning?

Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes

Very easy to pick off the shelf

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Badly: It’s not really suitable for home use or independent learning

We don’t set this for home learning

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Oak Academy have some good free lessons. May use these in future

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 6/11
