A great product
How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
It contains a range of activities aligned to the Welsh ICT and DCF curriculum that are easy to access
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils
Nothing really needed - it does what it needs to. It has levels to help differentiate activities but as a teacher you can vary input
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
When using in a lesson the pupils are engaged and like to explore on their own. Particularly as it gives so much choice
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited
We don’t tend to use it for this
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
It fits well and is easy to copy into and reference within our mid term planning and short term planning
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources
We used it in lockdown heavily
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
It is good value for money and we have renewed our subscription several times as we feel it is value for money
Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 9/11
