How well does it match the curriculum?

Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected

Objectives are clear and games are interesting. Colourful and engaging games. Games are matched to the objectives closely

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils

Would like: same tasks with differing ability Less text; more options such as touch screen; a speech button; bilingual

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so

They don’t see it as learning - they engage really well and live the games. They want more colourful characters and those that speak to them.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

It’s a good and short assessment that they go through to check understanding.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

Objectives are there and are easily able to be matched and there is clear progression in there too. There are a variety of activities to meet the objective.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Brilliantly: We’d have very few reservations about using this extensively to support home learning

We are set up to do at home, so that children can access at any time and we can look at these together in class and explain.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Brilliantly: It’s possibly the best value for money of any similar resources I’ve seen

A whole resource is well worth the money does to its cross circular approach and as there are worksheets as well as online activities it’s extremely engaging.
