It's ok, the children enjoy using it and although it sometimes seems a bit 'clunky' to fit it in with planning (especially for SEND children) it broadly fits.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources

Activities are engaging and fun. Insufficient practise opportunities for SEND pupils who may need to cover skills more frequently.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support.

Needs more options to overlearn the same activity. Currently the only way to achieve this is simply to repeat the same activity whereas SEND children benefit from repeating a skill but with a slightly different activity.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

The activities are easy to learn and very engaging. The children are motivated by some of the activities having levels and rewards.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

It is easy enough to see what pupils have achieved on their individual accounts.

How well does it support planning?

Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement

Sometimes it feels as if the activities only superficially support the planning. Some fit better than others.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources

It's very dependent on pupils having access to suitable devices.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

Improve how it links to the curriculum maybe with learning objectives or statements.

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 7/11
