Excellent scheme of work - would recommend to any school

How well does it match the curriculum?

Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected

Purple mash has been embedded across the school for a number of years and is an excellent subject within the curriculum at Warren mead

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils

There is a wide range of activities already, but one thing that would be great is simpler wording on some of the videos for lower ability/EAL children

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so

Excellent layout and range of activities. Certain topics could be slightly more engaging, such as internet safety.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

We do use it for formative assessment and this is generally going well

How well does it support planning?

Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes

All planning necessary is provided with the scheme, saving staff a lot of time. Lessons are also explained clearly

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

We do not use for home learning but I am confident it could be set and used by the vast majority of children

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Do not know how much it costs but I would think it would be difficult to find another scheme that does the same thing as well

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 11/11
