Fantastic resource and one that the school will continue to use for the long term. It offers great value and the support team are great if there is an issue.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected

Coverage, accessibility, engagement from children, planning, the assessment material and the provided PowerPoint slides for each lesson.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

Our main concern was the access to good quality Internet connections at home. In school we have no issues.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so

Children love using Purple Mash at any chance they get. They are motivated to continue classwork at home using it too.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

We only started using the assessment tools recently so not really in a position to comment.

How well does it support planning?

Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes

Detailed lesson plans and curriculum maps and deep dive materials. The PowerPoint slides are great for staff less confident.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

Children enjoy using it at home to continue their school work. We also set homework through the platform.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Brilliantly: It’s possibly the best value for money of any similar resources I’ve seen

Great, we will continue to renew our contract with them for the foreseeable future. The extra elements being developed also support our safeguarding team.
