No negatives, just really important to keep it current

How well does it match the curriculum?

Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected

Can be used across curriculum and continued learning at home - very engaging for children, always keen to use it no matter what subject area

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

Not sure if there are easy ways to redirect children who are now working on a lower curriculum (due to COVID) ie a year 3 child working on the yr 1 curriculum.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so

Children choose to use PM even when they have free choice. It is easy for them to save and retrieve their learning and they are eager to share their learning later with their parents at home

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

How well does it support planning?

Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement

We do not use it alongside planning as such but we can always find an area that fits with our own plans

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Brilliantly: We’d have very few reservations about using this extensively to support home learning

parents comment on the ease of use and are impressed that their child is so competent with its use

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Brilliantly: It’s possibly the best value for money of any similar resources I’ve seen
