How well does it match the curriculum?
Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected
The video tutorials are perfect
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils
less able children are able to access support more independently whilst the challenges are easily accessible without drawing particular attention to it
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so
children love their purple mash lessons
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Brilliantly: We could (or do) use it for monitoring pupils or classes, for gap analysis or to inform intervention strategies
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
It helps support teacher knowledge but you really need to teach it to yourself prior to the lesson
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Brilliantly: We’d have very few reservations about using this extensively to support home learning
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Brilliantly: It’s possibly the best value for money of any similar resources I’ve seen
the support it gives and the cpd included in the cost is second to none
Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 11/11
