Has it increased progress rates Does it support Covid catch up
How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
Supports all NC math objectives
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support / extension or challenge
Mainly by outcome, anything more needs additional teacher resources
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long
Some issues with writing in a printed book
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress
Lots online
How well does it support planning?
Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes
Misconceptions also covered
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Badly: It’s not really suitable for home use or independent learning
No homework support
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen
But you still need maths books to write in
Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 8/11
