How well does it match the curriculum?
Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected
Independent and so easy to use. Able to tailor it to the different groups in class both higher and lower ability.
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils
So easy to change the ability level and support the children who are working at both the higher and lower level.
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so
Keep adding more and more to the range of quizzes they offer, more subjects - they are invaluable and brilliant
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Brilliantly: We could (or do) use it for monitoring pupils or classes, for gap analysis or to inform intervention strategies
We are working with a variety of formative assessments - this gives up to date and current views on where the children are at.
How well does it support planning?
Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes
Each topic is backed with a quiz. The planning is made easier knowing we can check learning through this.
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Brilliantly: We’d have very few reservations about using this extensively to support home learning
We used it to support the tutoring at home - this worked well and was so easy to set.
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Brilliantly: It’s possibly the best value for money of any similar resources I’ve seen
Very cost effective for a larger school. We have 8 licences for the teachers who use it and it works out very economical.
Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 11/11
