How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
It is fairly comprehensive in its approach and has lots of resources and appropriate planning that is always useful across the school.
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils
It provides some appropriate differentiation, although it is not always that useful (it is often quite obvious and so not particularly that useful).
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long
This varies between year groups and between different cohorts and classes. We are still experimenting with the best way of implementing it.
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
It gives you just enough resources and guidance to support the planning process within the curriculum, although we can sometimes embellish it with other resources too.
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen
I am not sure about the exact cost for the resource, but there are some very good services that offer exceptional value for money elsewhere.
