Great resource just needs to be available in different formats
How well does it match the curriculum?
Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected
Covers year group objectives and provides continuity across a key stage. Strengths are resourcing weakness not having editable slides
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils
Needs more ativities provided for lower ability groups, more scaffolded/supported. Editable resources would enable teachers to adapt resources
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
Up to date and modern resources just that the resources can’t be edited, meaning staff spending time screen grabbing and re-creating resources
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress
Assessment is effective as end of unit can be assessed against criteria
How well does it support planning?
Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes
Able to use planning overview not plan a block of work and see consistency across year groups meaning continuity
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
Being editable would mean staff spending less time having to adapt particularly for home learning The resource is great just needs to be editable slides
