How well does it match the curriculum?
Brilliantly: There is more content (eg support / extension activities) than we expected
Spiral curriculum makes it easy to track progress across year groups. Some units need to be delivered in a specific order so you don’t have total freedom
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils
Examples of differentiated outcomes would be useful to see how children might perform at different levels
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so
Clear worked example. Would be good to see what greater depth might look like for children to aspire to or having a bank of display ideas based on the outcomes
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress
How well does it support planning?
Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation
Wish you could download whole units at a time rather than individual lessons as that would make medium term planning much easier
