Quite a good resource with planning provided. Just needs to have a quicker way of finding what you require.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

Can be accessed remotely. Further teaching ideas aid planning and preparation. Probably too much content which takes time to research.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

Would like to be able to drill down differentiation more thoroughly and offer better differentiated planning that would satisfy Ofsted. Condense lesson notes to make planning and preparation easier.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

Some activities are repetitive without progression and do not motivate pupil learning. Some activities are well thought out and engage pupils in their learning.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

Great for monitoring pupil progress and giving feedback. Assessments can be accessed from different locations making assessment more accurate and less stressful. Adding to teachers well-being.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

Lesson notes are available but sometimes rather verbose, Finding appropriate material can be time consuming unless you are familiar with the resources.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

Lessons can be assigned and monitored. Not sure if pupils are being supported at home. Results can vary for many pupils depending on location and level of support.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Less verbose lesson planning with more obvious differentiation. Easier access to resources with a better search facility.

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 8/11
