I would recommend these resources to colleagues planning a cross-curricular scheme of work,

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

Variety of material - meets cross curricular needs. Covers broad subject base. Engaging and relevant resources

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

I'd like to see greater variety of materials with differentiated tasks. Suggested different activities depending on pupils knowledge and ability

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

Resources require teacher input in general and pupils needs support to use. More required to promote full independence.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

i have not used these resources for formative assessment, but the summative tests at the end of a topic can be useful

How well does it support planning?

Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes

Really easy to use resources to plan ahead and include in a scheme of work. Some guidance and recommendations are provided.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources

Pupils need help and guidance to complete some tasks and therefore needs planning ahead before setting for home learning tasks.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Good value for money overall for cross curricular teaching and engaging resources and broad variety of tasks.

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 9/11
