How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

It uses Scottish curriculum organisers. It can at times be difficult to navigate, having to use very specific key words to find appropriate resources

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

Nothing additioanl needed. As it works across early, first and second, it works well for all pupils in my class, whether they require support or challenge.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

They like the cartoons, little stories, competitive aspects. Some of the activities can be a little complicated for younger ones to follow independently.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

I am usually able to see quickly what will fit in well with outcomes to be taught, if anything will support homework etc

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Unsure. I’m not sure how expensive it is - this is dealt with through the school office.
