How well does it match the curriculum?
Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources
Links to maths and literacy objectives and a range of topics covered. Children can access the games independently
How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?
Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support, extension or challenge
Needs different levels so that the activities can be differentiated to meet the curriculum and different homework activities can be set for home learning
How well does it engage and motivate pupils?
Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so
The simplicity of the games are great. Can't think of anything to improve regarding motivation. The children love it.
How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?
Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited
Not entirely sure what assessment is available. I have not used this feature before
How well does it support planning?
Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement
It links to the curriculum so can be used as a stand alone. I do not use it in my actual planning, although I’m sure you could.
How well does it support home use / independent learning?
Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources
It would be useful if you could set different games for different pupils
How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?
Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? /11
