How well does it match the curriculum?

Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources

Spellings with customisable lists etc as well as choice to tailor to fit your own content, such as reorganising their curriculum maps.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough extension, there are no levels of ability out into some of the activities and so this needs addressing.

Needs different tiers to abilities when completing games and tasks pre made within the system. Also could be something like on Edshed with a pro challenge etc for the gifted in each area

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

The differentiation in tasks which I mentioned earlier would achieve this as higher ability become sick of repeated activity

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

The assessment is not extensive enough and just shows a snapshot of the pupil where they are at that particular moment for one strand not the full subject.

How well does it support planning?

Brilliantly: It has everything you could need and is straightforward to use with classes

Can match planning and change to suit your own curriculum where needed. This customisation is missed in other products so is a great feature to add your own content.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Brilliantly: We’d have very few reservations about using this extensively to support home learning

Adding your own content means you can cover the curriculum

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

Would benefit from more content giving activities to those of different abilities to ensure their interest keeps going for a long period of time.

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 7/11
