How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

Able to do baseline tests with students, great curriculum cover and differentiation of each area and robust assessments at the end.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

Early level maths can sometimes be quite wordy. It is also very bright with lots of graphics, this can be overwhelming for some learners.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

Some older children (P6/7) find it a bit young. Some younger children find there is a lot going on. Mostly, questions are well explained, encourages independence and the challenges are differentiated whilst still appearing to look the same.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

It is another evidence tool to back up teacher assessment, however, would not be used robustly.

How well does it support planning?

Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement

It is used as an independent activity to secure what the child has already been learning. The children can access this fairly independently. I do find I have to play the games first.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

Parents give positive feedback that it is easy to access and use.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

None

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 10/11
