A fantastic resource that not only reduces workload but is a fantastic resource for children. It brings their learning to life which isn’t always easy to achieve.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

Provides a bank of resources that are excellent for curriculum coverage. It brings the curriculum to life and makes it exciting. More resources needed to support children who are SEN. Particularly in Year One where they will need to access a lot of Foundation stage.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

I'd like more content linked to Foundation Stage to involve those who are still working on that curriculum. Also for children who are SEND.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Brilliantly: Pupils love using and are excited when they know they are going to do so

The children in my class are particularly fond of the use of videos so they love the bank of videos used in lessons. The love the quizzes also. It’s a very engaging resource that brings learning to life.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

We don’t currently use for formative assessments but the ability to track pupil engagement is great as you see their engagement with tasks and monitor this effectively.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

A brilliant resource that reduces teacher workload which is what we all want more of! We still have to follow a set structure in our planning and adapt for the class and set children so can’t purely use this resource.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Reasonably: It could be used at home or independently, but pupils would need some extra support or resources

Parents struggle to engage with home learning and many would need a simple task to be able to effectively help at home. Many prefer printed tasks and don’t have access to a computer so would not engage with the quizzes etc.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

Many of the resources are free which is great to see and not always the case with other resources. It would be good to have resources for the younger pupils in school.
