How well does it match the curriculum?

Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources

It has a good range of subjects available and I like that it has news stories linked to current events etc. However, some of the video resources are a bit dated looking.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support.

It would be nice if there were resources for EAL pupils for the main lessons. It would also be good to be able to use subtitles with the videos.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

The children find videos help them to understand topics more easily but as I said before some of the videos are dated

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

We don't really use the resources as we have other in house assessment so I don't feel I can really comment on this one

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

The site is easy to navigate and the resources can fit nicely into lessons.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Brilliantly: We’d have very few reservations about using this extensively to support home learning

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen
