How well does it match the curriculum?

Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources

Good videos and super interactive activities. Carefully linked to curriculum objectives. Good spelling work especially phonics for younger children.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Brilliantly: There is a wide enough range of resources to provide a good range of options for all pupils

Needs a little more for pupils who very weak. The mid range is addressed well and there are some good extensions activities. There are so many more children with greater learning difficulties, which it doesn’t address.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

They like the interactive activities. Sadly they are too short and need to be differentiated a little more.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

Quite useful but it would be better if it was directly linked to the national curriculum objectives.

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

The curriculum map is very useful and links well especially in science. Sadly though there are some areas of the curriculum which are not addressed.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

It was a very useful resource during the lockdowns.

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

Needs more resources to address all curriculum areas especially in science. This would make it even better value as we have to look to other resources to plug the gaps.
