Useful if monitored well by class teacher/working with a group

How well does it match the curriculum?

Reasonably: It’s good enough for the money, but needs some additional resources

Children can click on any pathway and any nugget without guidance - negative. Positive - online and they can access it from home

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support, extension or challenge. LA children can access HA work

The children that are lower ability should be able to have other work that isn't MA or HA, for example reasoning tasks

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Reasonably: We can’t use it too often or for too long

They like going on the tablet/computer to use it but they don't like all the reading - there is not a listen option

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

You have to click through many different tasks to find out how they have done

How well does it support planning?

Badly: It takes a lot of time or additional resources to use it in the classroom

No use with planning, unfortunately. Would be good if it followed White Rose, and they completed the same tasks as the topic being studied that week

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

They can log on at home but will need an adult to read if they are not secure with their reading

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Reasonably: It represents about the same value for money as similar resources I’ve seen

Differentiation and ability to print out each task to complete for those that need 1:1 or learning difficulties reading from a screen

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 5/11
