How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

Closely matched could do with being more challenging in some places especially as the children progress through the year.

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Reasonably: Essentially there’s enough for most pupils but there isn’t enough support, extension or challengeObviously the children that have a low level or reading find it hard to access some areas of the programme.

Imrovement would be more SEN activities, but still age appropriate. At the moment just tend to put low year 6s on year 5 but they feel different from their peers then.

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

Like that’s it’s online and when children have completed we then reward with the school dojo system.

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Reasonably: There is some formative assessment included, but its usefulness is a bit limited

How well does it support planning?

Reasonably: Mostly we can use it without an unreasonable amount of effort or additional resource requirement

This is more teacher preference that we just use it as an extra intervention rather than as a planning tool.

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Was purchased using gap funding money, don’t think we’d have purchased it otherwise. Saves on setting homework too.
