A very useful resource which enriches vocabulary and is accessible for all.

How well does it match the curriculum?

Well: It covers the curriculum as well as we expected

A wide range of texts featured - nonfiction and fiction. Some fiction not very engaging pupils have said

How well does it support adaptation for different groups of pupils?

Well: A large majority of resources are suitably differentiated for pupils

More regional accents from actors reading the texts, please. This would help to engage the pupils along with make it more accessible for those in the North of England

How well does it engage and motivate pupils?

Well: Pupils generally enjoy using it and tend to welcome doing so

They like to be able to work independently and are excited to share their new vocabulary with the class and earn house points when they are able to include it in their writing in the correct context

How well supported is it by any included formative assessments?

Well: We could (or do) use it for monitoring individual pupil progress

The teacher dashboard is great because I can see how engaged and how well the pupils are doing. I also like that parents have their own dashboard which they've reported to me makes the home learning more inclusive

How well does it support planning?

Well: It’s fairly self-contained and can be used with minimal preparation

I use it for homework and it links so well with my learning objectives in class to reinforce what we've been studying

How well does it support home use / independent learning?

Well: Pupils could be expected to use this at home or independently, with a minimum amount of support or additional resources

I have 100% engagement most weeks from pupils and there are never groans when I say that work is set on here

How would you rate it for value for money compared to similar resources?

Well: It’s worth the money and effort to introduce – more so than many similar resources I’ve seen

Would like to see more regional accents in narration but otherwise I think it's great value for money and we see ourselves renewing year on year

Would you recommend it to a colleague in a similar school to yours? 10/11
